When I visited Maryland in July we wanted to make popcorn so I fixed the most burnt popcorn in the microwave. It stunk up the whole house, I don't think the squirrels would eat it. So the next day the twins and I decided to try again. I had put the popcorn in the microwave when sweet Chiler says "make sure you push the popcorn button, BUD". I guess I refer to the boys as bud sometimes but it was so funny when he called me bud. It is sad when a 4 year can prepare popcorn better than his Grandma who went to school to cook. I need to give up the vainty and wear those reading glasses but then again who needs them when Chiler can show me.
Now for the Xander story. I was holding Xander when he looked at me and said in the most innocent voice, "Grandma, you have squishy arms", as you can imagine Mike, Lance and Steph totally cracked up until Xander added "just like mommy". Steph wasn't laughing so hard then. It was one of the moments that you can see the innocence of a child he was just making an observation. Always remember to flex those muscles when Xan's around.
