The chicks arrived via US postal service this morning in a small box. There are 27 chicks huddled together. The striped chick was a bonus rare chick that we have no idea of the breed. Full grown these hens will be around 10 pounds.
Here they are tucked in their new home. They are sooo cute and soft. The lamp is to keep them warm. I think it is funny that we have almost two acres but right now all the animals live in the house, I guess that why we call it a farm house.
